93 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on June 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born July 11, 1920 in Oil City, PA. She was the daughter of Ruth Caldwell and Ernest Sayor. Ruth married in 1942 to Charles Lockhart, who proceeded her in death in May of 1976. She then married Charles Morrison in 1978. He also proceeded her in death in 1986. Ruth's eldest son, William Lockhart also proceeded her in death on July 17, 2011. Ruth was a licensed beautician. She worked at Kresges & WT Grants in Oil City, PA. She was instrumental in getting the Union organized in the Oil City area. She worked as a union representative for AFL-CIO and attended the union convention in California. She was a resident of Colony Cove of Ellenton,FL for 35 years. She looked forward to coffee hour, Pennsylvania Club meetings, and leading the Colony Cove Happy Notes. For many years she worked as a Pirate Booster volunteer at Mckechney Field in Bradenton, FL. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Parrish. She is survived by two sons, Todd Lockhart and wife Nancy of Cape Coral, FL, & Russell (Buzz) Lockhart and wife Christina of Oil City, PA. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, & cousins; including the Bill and Betty Riczo family of Cape Coral, FL.
