Ruth Flowers Pierce - GLENNVILLE - Ruth Flowers Pierce, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at her residence under the care of Pearls of Life Hospice. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville all of her life and was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Stewart. She was a member of Stoney Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Pierce; parents, Rudolph and Bertie Flowers; brother, Randall Flowers. Survivors include: daughter and son in law, Crystal and Anthony Trent of Glennville; sister and brother in law, Bobbie and Arlie Tucker of Dexter; brothers and sisters in law, Jackie and Sheila Flowers, Kent and Joyce Flowers, all of Glennville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 6;00 pm, Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Friday, April 4, 2008 from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
