Ruth F. Johnson Little River Ruth Fields Johnson, 81, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at home with her husband by her side. Born on August 14, 1933 in Jewell Ridge, VA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Bertha Green Fields. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ralph H. Johnson; son, James C. Hale; and sister, Doris Siedel. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, August 25 at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
