Ruth F. Hughes, 82, Bradenton, died May 13, 2005. She was born Dec. 16, 1922, in Minneapolis and came to Bradenton in 1961 from California. She was a parking lot attendant and was a Catholic. Survivors include daughters Judith Klete of Independence, Ky., Patricia Baswell of Asheville, N.C., Barbara McClintick of Dawsonville, Ga., and Mary L. McNamara of Bradenton; sons William of Bradenton and Robert Jr. of Atlanta; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
