SMITH, Ruth Evelyn (nee McDowell) - August 7, 1931 - December 12, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth on Friday, December 12 at East York General Hospital at age 77. Beloved wife of Terry Sr. and loving mother of Terry Jr. and fiancée Chantal. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Jean Capranos and Lois Saxton. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends Sunday, December 14 at the Pine Hills Visitation Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pine Hills Visitation Centre.
