Ruth E. Miller, of Peekskill, died on December 30, 2003. She was 90. Mrs. Miller was born February 21, 1913 in Peekskill to Walter and Martha Ryerson Van Horn. She was educated in the Peekskill schools. In 1936, she married Harry Miller at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Peekskill. Ruth was a homemaker and was a member of the Springvale Needlework Guild and a past active member of the St. Peter's Episcopal Church. She is survived by her son David and daughter-in-law Mary Ann Miller of Peekskill; two granddaughters Rebecca Fetzer of Hopewell Junction and Renee Miller of Peekskill; and two great-grandchildren Paige and Matthew Fetzer. Family members who died earlier include her husband Harry Miller in 1971, a sister Evelyn Tompkins, and a brother Ralph Van Horn. Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Joseph F.
