CARTER, Ruth E. 75, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in Quincy, FL, moved here in the late 1930's. Attended schools in Pinellas County, she was a homemaker. A member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Robert and Essie Lee McCullough, brothers, Robert, King David, Solomon and Leon McCullough, sister Lois Bacon. Survived by husband of over 40 years, William C. Carter Jr., sons Richard Anthony Wilson, William C. Carter III, and Fernando "Chip" (Lilia) Carter, daughter, Charlyn D. (Danny) Thomas, brothers, James F. (Aileen) McCullough and Jacob C. McCullough, sister Bertha Slaughter. 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation Monday, August 8th, 6-7 pm Creal Funeral Home. Funeral service Tuesday, August 9th, 1 pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
