Obituary of Ruth-E. Carter

Ruth E. Carter, 98, Venice, died Nov. 14, 2003. She was born April 3, 1905, in East Orange, N.J., and came to Venice 35 years ago from Belmar, N.J. She was a homemaker and a life member of the Eastern Star and a member of Seagulls Auxiliary of the Venice Power Squadron. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Ehrhart of Venice; and three grandsons, including Jean Trammell of Venice; and five great-grandchildren. Services were private. Burial will be later in New Jersey. Ewing Funeral Home is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Venice Little Theatre, 140 W. Tampa Ave., Venice, FL 34285.
