Ruth Doughty Edwardsformerly of EndicottRuth Doughty Edwards, 96, died on Thursday, February 17, 2005, in the James G. Johnston Nursing Home. She was born in Speedsville, N.Y., in 1908. She was an elementary school teacher in the Union Endicott School District for 35 years, and was a member of the NYS Retired Teachers, and W.B. & F Tioga Local Group. She was also a member of the Universalist Unitarian Church of Binghamton for many years. Ruth is survived by her very dear, close cousins, Carolyn (Gerald) Heaton, Cazenovia, N.Y., John (Roberta) Lamb, LaFayette, N.Y, Barbara (Thomas) Wells, New Woodstock, N.Y., and Colby (Diana) Lamb, Portland, Oreg.; their 12 children and five grandchildren.
