OUELLET, Ruth Cavell (nee Johnson) June 11, 1917 - November 4, 2008 Great-Grandma Ruth has left us. The wonderful mother of three children, Bill (Judy), Ruth (Rick) and Paul (Maxine), a loving Grandmother of Michelle, Sean, Paul, Jamie, Dean, Neil, Nicole and Janelle as well as Great-Grandmother to Ashley, Jasper, Braden, Lily, Jorja, Haley and Hannah will be cherished in everyone's thoughts. Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-three years, William Paul (Bill) Ouellet. Ruth was born and raised in Edmonton in a family of nine children. As a teenager full of spirit, Ruth loved tap dance and dancing at the Tivoli. Ruth's love for curling and golf kept her very active. She also cheered on the Eskimo, Stampeder and Oiler sports teams. Truly a kind, helpful, loving and devoted lady, Ruth has set the standard to which the rest of us can aspire. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at both the Wild Rose Cottage and the Capital Care Grandview for their warm, thoughtful care of Grandma Ruth.
