May 28, 2008 Ruth C. Miller, 84, of 617 East Broadway, Fulton, died May 28, 2008 at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. Born in Fulton, she was a life resident. She was the daughter of Jesse and Minnie Carrier. She was a graduate of Fulton High School and Central City Business Institute, Syracuse. Mrs. Miller was a dealer-manager of Tupperware Home Parties in Fulton for over 40 years. She had previously worked at Sealright Company and American Woolen Mill both in Fulton. Mrs. Miller was past president of the Fulton Chapter U.S.O. and past vice president of the Oswego County Chapter U.S.O. She had enjoyed bowling. Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her sister, Lena Rickard. Survivors: a daughter and son-in-law, Ursula and Joseph Wolcik of Fulton; cousins, Jesse Carrier of New York City, Richard and Kate Carrier of Blossvale and Beverly James of Wampsville; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Aurora of Central New York, 518 James Street, Suite 100, Syracuse, 13203-2282 or to the St. Luke John Foster Burden Fund, 299 East River Road, Oswego, 13126.
