Brock, Ruth "Pat"Aug. 21, 1915 - May 28, 2010Ruth "Pat" Brock, 94, of Venice died May 28, 2010.Services will be private at a later date. National Cremation & Burial Society is handling arrangements. Survivors include her daughters Cindi Brock Mick of Venice and Nanci Schaefer of Englewood; sister Elsie Nelson of Belle Fourche, S.D.; and grandsons Rich Schaefer of Oakwood, Ohio, and Rob Schaefer of Frisco, Texas. Pat was raised on the Old Diamond S Ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota and a graduate of the Black Hills Teachers College. She was an active volunteer for Kettering Memorial Hospital; Ringling Library Association and the Fine Arts Society. "Her cheery personality and sweet smile will be missed by all."
