TENNILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Ruth Boatright Smith, age 75, died March 8. 2005 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church of Sandersville. Rev. Peter Barlow and Elder Kenneth Brantley will officiate. Mrs. Smith was a native of Washington County, Georgia, daughter of the late James Hall Boatright, Sr. and the late Pearl Wommack Boatright. She was the widow of the late L. W. Smith, Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Connie S. Norris(Charles) and Kathy S. Bussell(Gary) both of Sandersville; three grandchildren, Devita B. Parnell of Macon, Laura Ashley N.(Jeff) Bridges of Roswell, and Jeff Norris of Sandersville; one great grandson, Ty Parnell of Macon; sisters and a brother, Helen B. Byrne, Tennille, Mary B. Mills, Vidalia and Buford O. Boatright, Montezuma. The family may be contacted at the Smith residence, 315 South Fourth Street in Tennille and will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday e vening between the hours of 5:00PM and 7:00 PM. The family has suggested that donations may be made to the Tennille United Methodist Church, P O Box 265, Tennille, GA 31089 or to the donor's favorite charity.
