HARRINGTON, Ruth Bauman JarrellAge 86, made her transition December 22, 2008. She was preceded in death by devoted husband, Frank Byrns Jarrell; parents, Paul and Agnes Tomlinson Bauman; and twin sister, Pauline. She is survived by Jarrell descendents and extended family; daughter, Ruth Byrnice (Jim); son, Ron Sr. (Deborah); granddaughter, Debra (Mike); grandsons, Ron Jr. (Bridget) and Steven (Beth); step granddaughters, Kristi (Brian), Ahree (Ross); 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Albert (Janelle); nieces and nephews. Survived by her loving husband, James H. Harrington and his descendents: daughters, Mary, Elaine (Aaron) and Ann (David); son, Sparky; 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was loved, appreciated and cherished by family and friends, and remembered for her love, encouragement, and graciousness to everyone, particularly those in need. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker and cook, she worked for the State of TN Employment Security for 20 years. She was very active with family and grandchildren, and enjoyed browsing local markets for collectibles and antiques. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in Dignity Hall at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with Rev. Cherie Larkin officiating. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her name to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
