Ruth Berry Smith, 92, died Tuesday. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony United Methodist church. Survivors: Two daughters, Betty Fulbright of Johnston, and Martha McGee of Warrenville; three sons, Samuel L. Smith of New Holland, Walter G. Smith of Laurel Hill, N.C., and Clyde M. Smith of Johnston; two sisters, Mary Dixon Carroll and Jewell Pardue, both of Johnston; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
