ANDERSON _ Ruth Alice Passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at the Carewest Dr. Vernon Fanning Center at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur in 1981 and her brother Francis. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her sister Jean (William) Bell; her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Busch and Eloise Aitkens; as well as five nieces and two nephews and their families. Ruth was born in Namaka, AB, on March 7, 1915. Ruth and Arthur were married in 1943 and resided in Calgary ever since. She worked at the York Hotel for many years and then worked at Morris Flower Shop until her retirement. Ruth was an active member of the Church of God Seventh Day, where she loved to play the organ. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with relatives and friends and was very involved with many seniors clubs. Memorial donations may be made directly to the charity of the donor's choice. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Chalus officiating.
