HUGHES, RUTH A. "TONI", 83, returned to her Heavenly Father, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation in Louisville. She was born in Alexandria, LA, on March 30, 1930 to the late Robb and Ruth Jones Hughes. Toni was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Blytheville, Arkansas for 28 years. Along with her parents; sister, Cecelia Smith; brother, Paul Hughes; and nephew, Craig Smith has preceded her in death. Left to carry on her beautiful memory are nieces, Harriet Smith Bowling, Nellie, Paula, Rosemary, and Toni Hughes; nephews, Robb L., Steven E., and Roger H. Smith, and Craig and Mark Hughes; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great-nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, private entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
