Ruth A. Henderson, age 84, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009. Ruth was born Oct. 6, 1924 to the late Will Lee and Susie Adams in Baker, Fla. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Henderson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David Gasper of Crestview, Fla.; her brother and sister-in-law, Morris and Maxine Adams of Baker; a sister, Florence A. Myrick also of Baker; two grandsons, Foster A. Capps and Daniel G. Capps; one great-grandchild, Dane Kyler Capps. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Crestview Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.
