Russell Lewis Williams, age 50, went to the loving arms of his Lord on March 22, 2008, in Springfield, Mo. Russ was born on November 9, 1957, in Harrison, Ark., the son of Russell Gene Williams and Fostina Williams Ainsworth. He graduated high school in 1976, from Harrison High School. Russell and Vicki were high school sweethearts and married in 1977, in Harrison. Russ was a salesman all his life working to support his family. If Dad wasn't hiding behind a camera lens, he was with Mom riding his motorcycle on the back roads of the Ozarks. He enjoyed playing and working with his sons, family was always first. Listening to Tony and Christopher play music brought so much light into his life. Daddy was expecting his first granddaughter, soon to be very proud to be called grandpa. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Henry and Ruby Williams. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Vicki (Baker) Williams; three sons, Russell Warren and wife, Amanda, Anthony Lee and his wife, Amanda and Christopher David; his mother, Fostina Williams Ainsworth of Harrison, Ark.; his brother, Ronald David Williams of Harrison; two sisters, Sue Ann Hicks of Clarksville, Va. and Shannon Crawford of Harrison, Ark.; and many, many other family and friends whom he loved very much. The Hillcrest Band Boosters and Springfield Youth Symphony have setup a memorial fund for Russell L. Williams at Great Southern Bank in Springfield, Mo., to assist the family. Funeral services will be held in Holt Memorial Chapel in Harrison, Ark. A time of sharing will be Thursday, March 27, 2008, at 5 p.m. with a memorial service to follow.
