EUTAW Ruby Roebuck Henderson, age 92, died Friday, July 14, at Heritage Health Care Center in Tuscaloosa. She was born in Greene County, December 12, 1914, to William and Hattie Roebuck, and was a life-long resident of Eutaw and faithful member of Eutaw Baptist Church.Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Henderson, and a son, Richard Earle Henderson. She is survived by daughters, Eunice Greene (Reuben) and Jane Friday (Grady); a son, W. Wilson Henderson (Charline); nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; a brother, Owens Roebuck (Margaret); numerous nieces and nephews and family members.Active pallbearers are Wesley Henderson, Jonathan Henderson, Mitchell Friday Lloyd, Jim Roebuck, Sidney Roebuck, Scott Roebuck, Melvin Herndon and Joel Henderson.Honorary pallbearers are Stella Rogers, Chris and Nell Beeker, Rita Stephens, Aileen Sanders, Dean Dillard, Eloise Sanders, Reginald Henderson, Melvin Durrett, Pat Herndon, William Levert, Nita Henderson, Mary Frances Henderson, Sue Henderson, Fannie Mae Roebuck, Mary Whitehead, Deacons of the Eutaw Baptist Church and numerous life-long friends in the Eutaw community.Arrangements are by Heritage Chapel Funeral Home of Tuscaloosa, a Dignity Memorial Provider. The funeral service was held at the Eutaw Baptist Church on Monday, July 16, at 2 p.m. with ministers Roy Sanford, Rick Williams and W. Wilson Henderson. Visitation was held at the church one hour prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering of the Eutaw Baptist Church or the local Baptist Church of your choice.
