BROWN, Ruby Lillian May (Jones)October 11, 1925 - May 12, 2011 Ruby passed peacefully from this world to the next, surrounded by her daughter and close family friends, Candice and Terry. Predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Gordon Marritt Brown, family and many friends. Left grieving her loss: daughter Shawn Elizabeth, grandsons, Ryan Nelson and Grant Marritt Shabacon, their girlfriends and families, many nieces, nephews and cousins, here and in Ireland; her friends and her beloved cat, Mr. Boo. Ruby spent her first 11 years in Vanderhoof, BC and then the following years were spent in England and Ireland. Returning to Canada in 1950 to begin a career with BC Tel and then TCA (Air Canada), for the next 38 years. She enjoyed traveling to many spots throughout the world with her husband and daughter, and will always be remembered as a beautiful woman in heart and spirit to those she loved and who loved her.
