Ruby Lee Brown, 88, died Sept. 15, 2012, at her home. She was born in Headland, Ala., and lived St. Lucie County for 61 years. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for more than 40 years and Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for eight years. Survivors include her sons, Ausbon Brown Jr. of Melbourne and Johnnie Brown of Sebastian; daughter, Linda Brown Chester of Fort Pierce; sister, Ida Mae Wilson of Jacksonville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ausby Brown; daughter, Annie Brown Vickers; brother, Bennie Danzie; and sisters, Mittie Danzie Span, Molly Gamble, Marie Crews and Fannie "Will" Humphrey. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 21 at the funeral home.
