KING, Ruby May Passed away peacefully in her home on Dec 3rd, 2008 at the age of 88. Born in New Norway Alberta, May 16, 1920, she was predeceased by her two husbands, Eugene King and Bob Burton. She will be missed by her surviving sisters, Evelyn Porcher, of Edmonton, and Juanita Brown of Surrey. Left to remember her are her daughter, Alexis Beringer and her son, Rex King and their many children and grandchildren. Ruby taught many years in rural Alberta and Edmonton followed by a number of years of ESL at Alberta College. Her joy in life was duplicate bridge and correcting other's grammatical errors. A celebration of Ruby's life will take place at Goward House, 2495 Arbutus Rd., Victoria 2-4 pm Dec. 13, 2008. 516439
