JONES, Ruby Louise Ross entered Heaven on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at age 87. Louise was born in Rome, Georgia on Nov. 13, 1924, to Bessie Jewel Jones Ross and Elbert Hamilton Ross. She was a graduate of Girl's High and two years of business college. She married her childhood sweetheart, Richard Charles Jones Jr. and he preceded her in death, Oct. 17, 2000. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Charles Jones, III and wife, Linn Dee Jones of Grayson, GA, and Walter Ross Jones and wife, Sondra R. Jones of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Richards Charles Jones, IV and Christy Bryant Jones of Decatur; great-granddaughters, Palmer Bryant Jones and Hagen Lynne Jones, Gordon Ross Jones of Braselton, GA, Jennifer Louise Jones Thrailkill and Philip Justin Thrailkill of McDonough, GA, Walter Ross Jones, Jr. and Candice Boyd Jones of Cartersville, GA. Louise is survived by her sister-in-law, Wilma Ross and nieces, Susanne Ross, Kathy Ross Boike and Joseph; their son, Gregory Boike of Snellville, GA. Surviving cousins are Jerald and Janice Vick of Rome, GA, John and Diane Vick of Tampa, Thomas and Tobi Jones of Auburn, AL, Anna Gossett of Greenville, SC and Margaret Mercer Callicot of Rome, GA. Louise will be loved and missed by her family, many cousins and friends. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Clearwater, and the Fellowship Sunday School Class for over 50 years. She also enjoyed her close relationships with Snellville United Methodist Church and the Hancock Sunday School Class. Our family is thankful for the care given by Sunrise Assisted Living at Webb Gin and Embracing Hospice; they were wonderful to Louise during the past four years. Final funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 11 am at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater. Interment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Snellville United Methodist Church, 2428 Main Street East, Snellville, GA 30078.
