Ruby D. Johnson, age 71 of New York City formerly of Laurens, S.C., died Thursday, May 24, 2007.She is survived by one son, Kenneth Johnson; an adopted son Steve Arthur; one daughter, Carolyn Goods of Bowie; two adopted daughters, Sheila Arthur and Susie Jones; two brothers Mose Johnson and Leon Johnson; one sister Johnnie Holt; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be June 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Poplar Springs AME. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m prior to funeral. Goins Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangement.
