-> Jesup - Ruby Johnson Henderson, 93, died Wednesday. Wayne Co. Ga., native was a member of Jesup First Baptist Church, and Naomi Sunday School Class, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and worker in the Women's Missionary Union. She was a charter member of the Ruby Riggins Camellia Garden Club, life member of Garden Club of Georgia and was an avid promoter of progress and beautification in her community. She was a former member of the Business and Professional Womens Club of Jesup starting along with her husband a grocery business and later owning and operating Henderson Furniture & Appliance Store. In her later years she and her son Mike owned and operated Henderson True Value Hardware. She was predeceased by her parents: Malcolm and Bertie Johnson, a grandson: Cannon Henderson, and was the widow of Murril S. Henderson. Survivors include son, Mike Henderson; brother, W.M. Johnson, nephews, Fred Westberry, Wayne Westberry, Donald Westberry, Gle nn Westberry, Les Carter; nieces, Eleonor Ricks, Carolyn Taylor and other relatives. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m., Saturday in the Chapel of Rinehart & Sons Funeral Home. Interment: Jesup City Cemetery.
