Mrs. Ruby Jenkins Scott, 77, died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was a native of Pineland, SC and lived in Savannah most of her life. She was a member of St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Scott and a daughter, Idella. Survivors: daughters, Viola Scott and Rosalyn S. (Ronald) Kennedy of Decatur, Brenda S. (Marvin) Price of Savannah, Denise (Charles) Collins of Savannah, Debra Scott (Linsey) Davis of Savannah and Michelle S. Macon of Savannah; sons, Zachary (Diane) Scott of Savannah and Felix Scott of Savannah; 38 grandchildren, including 5 she raised as her children, Asia Torrence, Craig, Tyrone , and Terrance; 41 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and others; sisters-in-law, Lucy Mae Washington, Alma Moore, and Mable Anderson, all of Philadelphia, PA, Corine White and Thelma Scott, both of Savannah; brother-in-law, Eugene Scott of Atlanta.
