JONES, RUBY GORTNEY, 80, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at her home. She was a member of Long Run Baptist Church, Eastwood Senior Citizens and was the owner of Middletown Antiques on Evergreen Rd., in the 1960's and 1970's. Her husband, Marvin Jones, and daughter, Joan Spears Ayers, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Blair Anson and Beverly "Cookie" Jones Lawson; sons, Richard and Ronald Jones; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Hawkins. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pearson-Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. in Middletown, with interment in Middletown Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2-8 p.m. Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to her church, in lieu of flowers.
