CARTER, RUBY DEAN, 82, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Caneyville, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in Louisville, KY. She was born on December 2, 1926, the daughter of Neil and Stella Evans Newton. She was a former employee of Phillip Morris, with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by three sisters; and her husband, Alvin Carter. She is survived by one sister, Carrolline Wheatley of Gallatin, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. David Brown officiating. Burial will be in Layman Memorial Cemetery.
