Bond ClinicWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Ruby B. Davis of Winter Haven died of heart complications Friday (March 19, 2004) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 82.Born in Monticello on April 25, 1921, she came to Winter Haven from there 61 years ago. She was a nurse's aide for Bond Clinic. She was a member of the Missouri White Stewardess Board, the Alice Walls Missionary Society and the Willing Workers Club. She was a member of Hurst Chapel AME Church where she was a member of Usher Board No. 1 and Choir No. 2.Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Davis. She is survived by her daughters, Betty D. Smith, Jessie D. Hill, both of Winter Haven; one grandchild; five great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hurst Chapel AME Church, 875 Ave. O., Winter Haven.
