Obituary of Ruby Carter

CARTER, Ruby Irene Age 90, passed away August 1, 2013 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, Windsor. Born in Chatham Township to the late James Richardson and Nancy Highgate, Predeceased by her husband, Donald (1991). Beloved mother of Patricia of Windsor, Wayne and wife Vicky of Wallaceburg and Tony and wife Debbie of Chatham. Loving grandmother to Crystal and husband, Rob, Keshia and husband Steve, and Shain. Great grandmother to Cassandra, Klarissa, Abigail and Hailey. Predeceased by granddaughter, Shaelynn. Predeceased by her dear sister Audrey Milburn on July 31, 2013; sister, Ann Judah, brothers Len and Doug Richardson. She will be sadly missed by many friends, relatives, nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, loving nature and heartfelt kindness. A private visitation took place on August 3, 2013 at Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home620 Cross St. Dresden.A joint Memorial Service for Ruby and Audrey will be held Friday, August 16 at 11 a.m. at Malden Park and Woodland Trails Visitors Centre (4200 Malden Rd, Windsor, 519-966-0462). Cremation has taken place with Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery Chatham August 16, 2013 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Renal Program at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital.
