RUBY C.DAVIS, 84Coca Cola Citrus Division AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Ruby C. Davis, age 84, a resident of Auburndale passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Wedgewood of Winter Haven due to complications of Alzheimer's. Mrs. Davis was born December 25, 1925 in Bascom, FL., to Dennis and Mattie (Wiley) Ditty. She was an Auburndale resident since 1952 coming from Pansy, AL. She retired from the Coca Cola Citrus Division and was a charter member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Auburndale. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Willie F. (Ted) Davis in June 1998; sisters and 1 brother. Ruby is survived by her loving family: 3 daughters: Peggy Davis (Ronny) Peebles of Auburndale, Judy Davis Turbeville of Lakeland, Tammi Davis (Leo) Kowatch of Lakeland; 7 grandchildren: Angie (Jeff) Dicks of Auburndale, Kim (Jeff) Fleeman of Auburndale, Holly Peebles of Brandon, Tracy Turbeville of Tampa, FL., Dewey Turbeville, II of Lakeland, Justin Knuebel of Deland, FL., Tyler Knuebel of Lakeland; 7 great grandchildren: Sarah & Olivia Monti, Abbi Dicks, Evan, Avery, Christian & Anna Fleeman. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 at the First Free Will Baptist Church, 114 E. Derby Ave., Auburndale. Interment will follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held before services from 9:30 till 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by: Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale.
