CARTER Ross Bowen Island and the world lost a vital soul with the unexpected passing of Ross Carter on June 29, 2008. Ross was a true gentleman, friend and mentor, a man of scintillating intellect and wry humor whose love of life found expression through painting, poetry and politics.
