Graveside services for Rosie Louise Beasenburg Harris 76 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday September 4 2006 at Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Calvin Moore officiating. Mrs. Harris died Friday September 1 2006 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Arrington Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harris was born on January 16 1930 in Madison County the daughter of the late I.D. and Rosie Rushing Beasenburg. She was married to the late Edward Neil Harris who preceded her in death in April 1982. She was a graduate of North Side High School and was a member of the Westover Baptist Church. Mrs. Harris enjoyed spending time with her great-great-nieces and nephews and bird watching. She is survived by her sister Lillie Gibbons of Jackson; two nieces and three nephews. Pallbearers to serve will be Tom Haney Ron Haney Rob Beasenburg Brandon McFarland Jerry McKinney and Kenny Fitzgerald. The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude's Children Research 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105.
