DETROIT, MIRosie Lee Clark, 92, of Detroit, MI, died February 8, 2006 at St. Johns Riverview Hospital.A native of Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of Boyce Lee and Dezzie Simpson.She leaves to cherish two grandchildren, Minister Thornell (Vernett) Cheeks of Lithonia, GA, Mr. Rhonda (Nathan) Cheeks Hunt of Atlanta, GA; six great-grandchildren, Ms. Faith Hunt and Ms. Destiny Hunt, and Ms. Alashondia Hunt, all of Atlanta, GA, Mr. James A. Lawson and Samuel Cheeks, all of Georgia. She was preceded in death by great-grandchild, Mr. Joshua Cheeks.Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2006 at Cannon and Sons Mortuary Chapel in Landrum, SC. Minister Thornell Cheeks will be officiating. Burial will be in Green Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Tryon, NC.The family is at the home of Mr. Virgil Simpson, 219 Admore Drive, Spartanburg, SC.Cannon and Sons Mortuary, Landrum, is in charge of arrangements.Paid Funeral Notice
