Rosemary Smithof ApalachinRosemary Smith, 72, of Apalachin, went to be with her Lord at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul Smith, Apalachin; her sons, Gene Smith, Grand Junction, Colo., and Gary Smith, Embudo, N.Mex.; one daughter, Linda Smith-Wheelock, Canton, Mich.; her grandchildren, Kevin and Nicholas Smith-Wheelock, Sean Berkson, and Audrey Anna Smith. She was a business manager for Kirby Band for 11 years, a part time bookkeeper and salesperson for Piersons Fine Footwear. She was associated with the Binghamton Psychiatric Center's Womens' Auxiliary, and a member of the Nichols Methodist Church for many years. Rosemary had a special love for birds and cats.Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Nichols United Methodist Church, Main St., Nichols, N.Y.
