LAHTI, Rosemary Helen (Nee Storey) - On Monday, November 17th, Helen, beloved wife of Leo passed away peacefully at the Toronto O'Neill Centre in her 79th year. Predeceased by brother Red, sisters Irene and Ruth, Helen leaves behind brother George (Barbara), niece Janet, nephews John and Dean (Geri), grandnieces Danielle, and Natasha. Born and raised in Simcoe County, Helen pursued her school teaching career at Ferndale, Barrie, Kitimat, B.C., Montreal, P.Q., Bishop Strachan and Havergal College, Toronto. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. at the CARDINAL FUNERAL HOME, 366 Bathurst Street (north of Dundas) Toronto, Ontario. A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
