Obituary of Rose St


Rose St. Pierre, 89     PORTLAND - Rose St. Pierre, 89, a lifelong resident of Westbrook, died Tuesday Jan. 10, 2006 at the Barron Center.     She was born in Westbrook, a daughter of George and Emma Vig- eant Nelson. Rose was raised, educated and lived her whole life here in Westbrook.     She was a homemaker, loved being with her family and loved to cook and sew.     She was a member of the American Legion Post 197, Ladies Auxillary and the Westbrook Eagles.     She was predeceased by her husband, Philip St. Pierre in 2002; and a grandson, Dennis Daniels in 2005.     She is survived by two daughters Penny and husband David Cole of Westbrook, and Ann and husband Gerard Daniels of North Waterboro; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Pete Nelson of Westbrook.     Graveside services will be held, this summer at Woodlawn Cemetery.     Arrangements are by the Blais & Hay Funeral Home Westbrook.         If desired, donations in her memory may be made to:    The Barron Center Recreation Dept.    1145 Brighton Ave.    Portland, Maine 04102         The family wishes to thank the staff at the Barron Center, for the kindness and care that Rose received, during the last four years.    Rose St. Pierre
