Rose Sainz, 97, of Newark died peacefully Sunday morning at home. Funeral services will be held in Jessup, Pa., on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Assumption Church, Third Avenue, Jessup. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Jessup. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Rose's husband, Emeterio "Teddy" Sainz, died on Nov. 26, 1987. Born in Jessup, Pa., Mrs. Sainz was the mother of three children, Peter D. Sainz of Jupiter, Fla., Marie Sainz-Funaro of Livorno, Italy, and Elaine M. White and husband, Jack, of Blairstown, N.J. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
