Rose Parker SchenectadyRose Raffele Parker, 85, into the Arms of Our Lord on Friday, May 24, 2013. Rose was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Steve and Rose (Albanese) Raffele. Rose attended Schenectady schools and then entered into retail sales in Schenectady. She was employed as a manager and buyer for the Jo-Ann Shop and later The Imperial in Schenectady, until her retirement. For many years she was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 514 in Schenectady. Rose was the beloved wife of 36 years to Mason Parker; beloved sister of Amelia (Floyd) Dufel, and the late Steve Raffele Jr and his wife, Clara who survives him; beloved aunt of Kathy Raffele, Stephanie Raffele,Roseanne DeLoreto, Steve Raffele III. Rose is also survived by great-niece, Jennifer (Gabe) Rounds and their daughter, Kinley Clare; great-nephew, Steve IV; cousins, June (Tony) Casapullo, Benita (Sonny) Zullo, Lorry (Bob) Atchinson. Services for Rose will be private. She will be interred in Sts. Cyril/Methodius Cemetery, Rotterdam.
