Ely, Rose Mary passed-on September 27, 2003 at age 72 after a long courageous battle with muscular dystrophy. She was born in Phillipsburg, OH and moved to Florida in 1956. She was a registered nurse and retired from Broward General Medical Center in 1980. Survived by husband of 46 years Ernest M. Ely. Beloved mother of Sue (John) Loveless, Mark (Patty) Ely, Greg Ely, Jeff Ely, Tim (Laurie) Ely and Julia (Rick) Nelson, stepchildren Darlene (Ron) OchsenKinecht, Michael (Carey) Ely, Robert Ely, Barbara (John) Lewis, many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew her. Visitation on Wednesday, October 1 at FRED HUNTER'S UNIVERSITY DRIVE HOME, 2401 S. University Drive in Davie at 6:00 PM with Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
