HALL, Rose Marie 66, of Tarpon Springs, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at Community Hospital of New Port Richey following complications from an infection. According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services were held. As Rose loved the ocean, her ashes will be scattered at a location in the Gulf of Mexico at a later date. Rose Marie Herzig was born Nov. 11, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Albert and Francis Herzig. She married Robert Zakrzewski on Aug. 3, 1962, and from this union two beloved sons were born, Robert, Jr. and Michael. She later married Robert Hall on Dec. 12, 1998. She owned and operated with her husband, Bob, Sweets & Treats on the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs. Rose loved life and never met a stranger. She enjoyed working in the candy store and all of the customers she met throughout the years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all her knew her. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband; sons Robert, Jr. (Marion) Zakrzewski of Durant, IA and Michael Zakrzewski and his fiancee , Jennifer, of New Port Richey; two granddaughters, Ann Marie and Kate Lynn Zakrzewski, both of Durant; brother Albert, Jr. (Carleen) Herzig of Egg Harbor, NJ; sister Margo (John) Conroy of Gloucester, NJ, and nephews, Johnny and Jimmy Conroy. She was preceded in death by her parents.
