GILMAN, Rose (nee Parkou) Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Hyman. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Murray and Lorraine Gilman, Sue Ellen and the late John Gilman. Proud grandmother of Jack and Eve, Ken and Elissa; Adam, Michael, and Margot. Loving great-grandmother of Adam, Ryan, Koby, Brett and Rebecca Joe. Predeceased by her brother Emil and sisters, Sophie Harris and Jeannette Ross. Rose loved life and her family passionately. She enjoyed her winters in Florida with Hymie, where they golfed with friends. She was a master bridge player. The family would like to thank her caregiver Rita Straisfeld for her kindness and devotion. Special thanks to the exemplary staff at Maimonides Geriatric Centre.
