Smith, Rose Ann SARATOGA Rose Ann Ausfeld Smith, 63, of Saratoga, died December 12, 2009 at Saratoga Care Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady, N.Y., Rose Ann was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Ausfeld. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and Albany Business College. She was an administrative assistant for the General Electric Co. for 29 years. Sister of Marcia Ross of Mechanicville; aunt of Kevin Ross, Kristin Romano and Kelly Ross and six grandnieces and nephews. The family wishes to give special thanks to Fr. Michael Cambi, Bob, Jackie, Jen, Amy, and all of the doctors and staff who cared for her at Saratoga Care Nursing Home and Saratoga Hospital I.C.U. Also Fr. Carl Urban, Sister Bernadette, Johnny, Pat, and all her family and friends who so devotedly bestowed upon her their endless love and support. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 9 a.m. at the Church of St. Adalbert.
