Roscoe Shawn Anderson, 38, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2004, at his home in Camp Taylor. He was employed as a distribution supervisor for LabCorp, where he worked for over 20 years. He was a member of George Washington Masonic Lodge and Victory Eastern Star Chapter #447, where he was a past patron. Mr. Anderson was an active volunteer for the Camp Taylor Little League for many years. He was a huge fan of the University of Louisville sports team. He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Lewis Anderson. Mr. Anderson is survived by his son, Roscoe Bradley; a daughter, Chelsea Rebekah; two stepdaughters, Bridgett and Betsy Jeffiers; his mother, Lois Grant Anderson; a brother, Mark Lewis Anderson; a sister-in-law, Colleen; two nieces, Molly and Maggie; and a nephew, Andrew. He is also survived by an uncle, Michael, an aunt, Carol, and a cousin, Michael Douglas. He is also survived by his former wife, Beth. His funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation.
