She was born December 24, 1923 to the late Robert M. Winters and Effie Mae Johnson Winters.Mrs. Phillips retired from Monsanto after many years of service.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George S. Phillips in 1995; and a son-in-law, Bill Barnes in 2012. Survivors include her children, Carolyn Barnes, Cynthia "Kay" (Chuck) Steen and Gary Phillips; grandchildren, Bill (Isandra) Barnes, Greg (Selina) Barnes, Kim (John) Hinton, Katey Logan, Kelli (Butch) Grantland, Brad (Michelle) Lowery, Andy (Tina) Steen, Gabriel Phillips, Amie (Chris) Rogers and Michael Phillips; great grandchildren, Vanessa (Greg) Taylor, Brian Barnes, Jacob Barnes, Isabella Barnes, Brady Barnes, Tori Barnes, Stephen (Christa) Enfinger, Colby Hinton, Amy (Trower) Boyd, Hannah Logan, Macy Grantland, Brody Grantland, Trenton Lowery, Kaytland Lowery, Madison Lowery, Lindsey Steen, Andi Lynn Steen, Cole Steen, Gabby Phillips, Haley Phillips, Landon Phillips, Taylor Rogers and Carley Rogers; great great grandchildren, Marissa Garner, Makenna Enfinger and Mallory Enfinger; a sister, Betty Fontana; sisters-in-law, Anne Jones and Ann Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
