BROWN Rosa Lee “Nannie” Brown, 94, of Jacksonville passed away June 4, 2006 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of Wesley Fellowship United Methodist Church, 5400 N. Pearl St. where her funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Tarleton and Dr. Alan Brown officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl David “Daddy Pop” Brown, Sr. in 1963, a brother, Thomas Letchworth; and a granddaughter, Lynette Atkins. Survivors include: four daughters, Florence Ann (Wayne) Witt, Shirley (Larry) Boylston, Barbara Lee (William) Summerlin, and Patricia (Calvin) Wilcox; a son, David (Shelby) Brown; a sister, Inez (Amos) Hoskins; a brother, Everett Letchworth; nine grandchildren, Mark, Troy, Alan, Renee', Scott, Eric, Keri, Bryan, and Fawn; and 16 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. The family wishes to thank all those with Community Hospice that have been so helpful.
