Roosa M. "Rosie" Davis Services: Have been held. Roosa M. "Rosie" Davis, 91, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, in the Coom Memorial Nursing Home in Dalhart, Texas. A Tucumcari resident, she had been had been making her home in Dalhart since June 2006 because of health reasons. Mrs. Davis was born July 10, 1915 in Logan, New Mexico. She had been a home maker. Surviving Mrs. Davis are her daughters: Laverna "Sissy" Ellis, Toni McKinney and Doranna (Joe) White, all of Tucumcari, Cheryl (Murry) Saul of Dalhart and Jackie (Robert) Holderof Pueblo, Colo., and her son, Johnny (Susan) Stacy of San Jon. She is also survived by numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pinkie Davis, by her parents Charlie and Emma May Wilson, by her sister Hazel Sanders and by her brother Charlie Wilson II. Russel Balleu from the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Dalhart officiated on Tuesday at the service at Dunn Memorial Chapel. Pall Bearers were Murry Saul, Joe White, Robert Holder, Justin Ellis, Gary Spinks and Kyle White. Burial was at the family plot in the Logan Cemetery in Logan. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
