->89, formerly from the Rochester area, died on Friday December 10, 2010. Born in LaSalle, NY, he was the son of the late Blanche Haire Clark and Harold Clinton Clark. Roger graduated from Brockport High School in 1937 and received a diploma in Industrial Management from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1950. He was married to Barbara Harding for 34 years until her passing in 1977 and was married to Antoenetta "Anna" Talano for 19 years until her passing in 1999. Roger enlisted in the US Air Force in 1942 and was assigned to the Eighth Air Force's 96th Bomb Group. During WWII he was a navigator on a B-17 and flew over thirty missions, including three on D-Day. After the war he served in the US Air Force Reserves, retiring in 1969 with the rank of Lt. Col. Residing in Clarkson, NY, the majority of his life, Roger worked 40 years at Eastman Kodak, first in quality control and later in management, retiring in 1980. In 1982 Roger moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, and enjoyed his retirement years there. In 2002 he moved to Clemson, SC, to be closer to family.A sports enthusiast his entire life, Roger was an accomplished bowler, playing in numerous leagues during his years in the Rochester area. Later he become an avid golfer and continued to play through his 89th year, often shooting his age. Roger is survived by his three children, Bonita Senkala (Lon Foltman) of Hilton, NY, Eileen Brookman (Isaac Keller) of Clemson, SC, and Roger H.(Carol) Clark of Sante Fe, NM; his seven grandchildren, Dan Senkala, Barbara Senkala, Justin Brookman, Monica Brookman, Elizabeth Brookman, Andrew Bourke, and Emily Clark; 4 great-grandchildren, Alina Senkala, Stella Martin, Naomi Antoine, and Rylan Bourk; his sister, Kathryn Ellis, sister-in-law Mary Jo Harding, brother-in- law Tony Meschino; and many nieces and nephews from the Clark, Harding, and Meschino families. Besides his sons-in-law Michael Senkala and Mark Brookman, Roger was predeceased by his sisters; Jean Hoyt, Mary Ellen Delehanty, and Virginia Keiser. A graveside service with military honors at Mt. Albion Cemetery, Albion, NY, and a memorial celebration of his life will be held in warmer weather per Roger's wishes.
