Roger Peter Stewart, 77, of Homosassa, Florida passed away November 15, 2008. He was born September 15, 1931, in Tielt, Belgium. He was former owner and operator of R & J Family Restaurant in Cook, Minnesota. He moved to Homosassa 12 years ago from Cook, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Stewart of Homosassa, two children, Kevin Stewart and his wife Lisa of Homosassa, and Ron Stewart of Oregon, two brothers, Josef Steyaert of Belgium and Paul Steyaert of Ireland, one sister, Margaret Hallahan of Colorado, five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick & Maria Steyaert and his brother, George Steyaert. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 18th, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Hooper Funeral Home, Homosassa Chapel with services starting at 1:30 pm.
